Dear members of the Research Network on Voting Advice Applications,
As you might have seen already, once again we will have a VAA research section at a ECPR General Conference, this time in Hamburg, August 22- 5 2018.
The next stage of the process is a call for papers. In the attachment you will find our section proposal including a description of the four panels for which we are opening the call. If you are interested in presenting your paper(s) in Hamburg, please get in touch with the chair of the panel your paper might fit with.
Since the finalized panels have to be submitted already before February 15th, we would set February 7th as the deadline for the call for papers, so that the panel chairs have sufficient time to decide which papers could be included in their panels. Paper abstracts should have not more than 500 words. Needless to say, feel free to forward this CfP to all of those you think they might be interested!
One final issue: in terms of our membership size we are close to the magical threshold of 100. It would be fantastic, if you could mobilize some more people to join our research network. This would give us the chance to get the status of a regular Standing Group.
